The purpose of the project to design a book for the F. Scott Fitzgerald’s story that would creatively convey its extraordinary plot.
Benjamin Button’s life is progressing backwards: from being born as an old man through getting younger until the stage of a newborn. Echoing Benjamin Button’s life, the book is a spool of text that a reader untwines until the end.
Illustrations and type are hand-drawn and purposefully distorted, mirroring the unusual events of the story.
